Founded in 2002, Mighty One Productions quickly became one of the most reliable video production companies coast to coast. Providing quality, professional and most of all, affordable video services was the vision of President, Jon Magnuson.

 

Jon graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Mass Communication at Arizona State University before beginning his career with the Phoenix Suns of the NBA. Working alongside talented players and coaches, Jon helped to produce Suns telecasts and pregame shows, providing feature reporting for numerous Suns games and events.

 

In 1997, Jon was promoted to head up the video department for the new Major League Baseball franchise in Phoenix, the Arizona Diamondbacks. In charge of producing all content for the home team’s stadium, now called Chase Field, Jon quickly built a reliable department called Diamondbacks Productions. His on-air work on local station KTVK both before and after Diamondbacks games was a regular assignment.

 

For 12 seasons Jon hosted, produced and created Diamondbacks content and was nominated for several Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards, winning for best weekly magazine show, D-Backs Playin’ Hardball. Jon hosted more than 300 Hardball episodes and along the way he gained the experience necessary to handle virtually any type of production. Jon was instrumental in taking the Diamondbacks from Standard to High-definition in 2006 and his HD knowledge is extensive.

 

Today, Jon and his team of talented producers, videographers and editors have built Mighty One Productions into a friendly, results-oriented production resource coast to coast!
